About Me

I am a Senior Lecturer in the Astrophysics Department of Tel Aviv University, studying physical processes related to the formation of galaxyies. I focus on the physics of gas in dark matter halos, known as the circumgalactic medium (CGM), and how it interacts with gas in the galaxy at the center of the halo, known as the the interstellar medium (ISM). on the coupling between massive (10^6 -10^9 Msun) black holes  and  their host galaxies, known as quasar feedback. I use a wide range of tools in my work, including analytic derivations from first principles, idealized and cosmological hydrodynamic simulations, and direct inference from observations. I am part of the FIRE simulations collaboration.
